Next Level SC was established in York County, SC April 2014.

Purpose:   Our purpose is to prepare youth, regardless of  gender, age, ethnicity and religious background, for life and the day to day decision making process.  We utilize the game of basketball as a vehicle to demonstrate the importance of making good decisions.  An emphasis is placed on maintaining a positive attitude, being coachable, and competing at a high level, all of which are skills that transcend the game of basketball.  We are also aware of the many challenges that are youth face including exposure to guns and gun violence.  We are very intentional in discussing the need to carry a gun, associating with peers that may have a gun, and the resources available to them to receive support should they find themselves receiving threats about gun violence.

Mission:  Next Level's mission is to equip kids with the tools necessary to navigate their day to day challenges. Mentors will make themselves available to support kids by listening without judging while helping them to understand they are the owners of the decisions that they make which determine their well being and the well being of those around them.  

Vision: Our vision includes meeting kids where they are and assisting them in establishing both short term and long term goals.
